Draw in Light SS12

I have spoken of my love for the unique and innovative designs by Draw In Light in the before, but I just had to share their latest offering for Spring/Summer 2012 with you.

Following on from a prism-perfect pre-SS12 collection, Draw In Light have embraced a more muted, softer side for the rest of the season. Inspired by the concept of "mapping", this season mixes subtle, ethereal flowing pieces with delicate pops of earth tones and clever cropping. Here are a few of my favourite pieces.

Draw In Light have mastered the art of creating designs that are a perfect balance of being "of the moment" and eternally classic at the same time, making all of their pieces a wise investment. Not only that, but the way they work is something truly special - check out this short video made by one of their stockists, Liberty London.

Inspired? You should be.

Behind the scenes: Ayten Gasson AW12 lookbook photoshoot

On Sunday night, I reunited with a great group of people to style a lookbook for Ayten Gasson's Autumn/Winter 2012 collection. Having worked with most of the team on the last two collections, I knew it was going to be a fun shoot, and it was made even better by having my good friend Rosanna Dimmick from First as our model.

Inspired by Kate Bush and the Bronte Sisters, Ayten Gasson have embraced their darker side with a rich jewel tones, complimented by seductive lace and pops of playful print. With a stunning mix of kimono-style bed jackets, lace-kissed playsuits, soft cup bras and sweeping negligees, I would say that this AW12 collection contains some of Ayten's most luxurious pieces yet. But don't just take my word for it - take a look at my sneaky behind the scenes snaps.

I think you'll agree that Rosey looks absolutely incredible in Ayten Gasson's gorgeous pieces! I am so excited to see the final pictures, and as soon as I get my greedy hands on them you can be sure I'll post them on here.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to the team for another brilliant shoot.
Come back soon for more styling fun!
