Behind the scenes: Ayten Gasson AW13 lookbook

Last week, I was lucky enough to reunite with the old gang to style Ayten Gasson's lookbook for AW13. I love styling Ayten's gorgeous lingerie, as it's so easy to make them look good! Each piece is made from the highest quality silk in perfect soft hues and trimmed with the most intricately beautiful lace. The best part is that each item is made right here in the UK, so if you buy from Ayten Gasson lingerie, you're supporting the British manufacturing industry. Not only that, but you'll look sexy while doing it too!

I took a few sneaky behind the scenes snaps for you to enjoy. I warn you now though - you will want to buy everything...

Doesn't our model, Rosanna, look incredible? If I looked like her, I'd walk around in lingerie all the time! Especially Ayten's.

I'd like to say a big thank you to all of the team for making the shoot as much fun as it always is. I'm already looking forward to the next one...

Come back soon to see the final pictures!

Draw In Light SS13

I don't know whether they're doing it on purpose or not, but it seems Draw In Light are on a mission to bankrupt me. Season after season, their collections never fail to make me fall in love, and their SS13 offering is no exception.

This season, the focal point of their collection is this stunning "Greenhouse" print, mixed with their signature whimsical silk screen printed swirls of soft greys, blues, pinks and reds. As with all Draw In Light designs, each piece is oversized, slouchy and decadently comfortable (who knew that was even possible?!). Needless to say, I want it all.

Are you as in love as I am?

Editorial: Who's Jack Magazine

What's this? A blog post? Surely not!

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Life has gotten very busy as of late, fortunately in a good way.

The good news is I have some shiny new published editorial to share with you - yippeee!

Although, when I say "shiny" and "new", that's not entirely true. I actually styled this editorial a year ago for Alexandra Cameron. As mutual fans of the book and film, we decided to base the story on "The Virgin Suicides", written by Jeffrey Eugenides and directed by Sofia Coppola. It took a while, but now the issue of Who's Jack is out and I can share it with you. Better late than never, eh?

The majority of the clothes are from Rokit vintage and Fable London, as well as some of my own vintage collection. I absolutely love these photos, and it was a nice change of pace to use such simple yet beautiful pieces.

momocreatura

I've talked about my not-so-secret inner goth in a few posts before. It first came into existence in my early teens, when I realised that having pale skin and dark hair wasn't such a bad thing. After a few dodgy experiments with black hair dye and dark purple lipstick, I decided that I could still enjoy elements of gothic style without betraying my love for high fashion, and fortunately there are a number of brilliant designers around that make this very easy for me.

One such label is momocreatura, which has quickly become my new favourite jewellery brand. The 'Nearly Dead' collection in particular has become an all-consuming object of lust for me, and I am now making it my mission to save up for every perfect piece.

Editorial: SYN Magazine online

Believe it or not, I styled this editorial nearly a year ago! It has now been published on SYN Magazine's website. Despite how long it's taken, it's been worth the wait and I'm really excited to share it with you now.

Although I love these pictures, I also want to share a couple of ones that didn't make the cut...
